Greetings Everyone,

On Sabbath, May 31st the Springfield, Missouri Congregation will be visiting the Springdale, Arkansas Congregation for services. We will not have services at the IBEW Hall on May 31st, 2014.

We wish everyone a great Sabbath and we will see you the following Sabbath at our regular time (Noon) at the IBEW Building at 2902 E. Division, Springfield, MO.

No Fear Of God

On December 15th, 2012 I listened to the Special News Report that covered yet another tragedy in our Nation, the shooting of twenty children and six adults at an elementary school in Connecticut, I am reminded of God’s words “Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will forget your children!”  Even though this scripture is referring to the Priests of that time it also applies to us today as a reminder of what the consequences are of rejecting our Great God.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

It seems like every time when tragedy strikes our Nations politicians start talking about gun control when they should really be talking about the moral issue of breaking God’s law, the sixth commandment which is in Exodus 20:13 You shall not murder.  This is where the core of the problem lies not in gun control.
