I was talking to our congregation after a sermon one Sabbath and the question came up “Does God accept all who claim to be Christians even though they may not know what He wants them to do?”

It was a good question and one that is often rationalized away by saying; “God knows my heart” and “God doesn’t hold me accountable if I don’t know.” While this last statement may hold some truth the first is certainly true! God does know your heart and He knows if you are playing Church or if you are really trying to follow the instructions that He inspired in the Holy Scriptures. Continue reading →
