Pastors Update March 17 2020

March 17, 2020

Dear Brethren,

As you may be aware, I keep in touch with Tyler and in fact have just spoke with Mike James about services being broadcast from Tyler starting this week.

So I’m hoping most of you can watch one of the services either from Tyler, Medina, or Atlanta.

You can go to the CGI.org home page and find the links to these services there.

It looks like we may be at home even for the Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread. Tyler will be broadcasting the Passover service so we may need to have our own wine and unleavened bread so we can take the Passover in our homes. Obviously we will not be able to do the foot washing part of our service but we can and should be able to have the attitude of humility and of service in our minds at all times.

Those of us who have been in the Church for a long time knew these times were coming and in fact you have heard me give many sermons on the book of Revelation which speaks to these events.

This might be the precursor to the events we have covered in those sermons but it is not likely they are actually being fulfilled in full strength but time will tell.

In the meantime, just be patient, pray often, stay close to God and don’t worry about things that you cannot control.

I’ll keep everyone informed with any information I receive from the Home Office. It looks like we will not be meeting for services for several weeks so we may get a bit stir crazy before this is over.

It will be a test of Faith for some, not so much for others. Each one will deal with this according to the Faith they have been given.

We were told to “Pray Thy Kingdom come” and it may be closer than we think but there is much that has to happen before Christ returns.

Satan likes to create FEAR but pure love cast out all fear! (You can look that up.)

In Christian Service,

Dave Campbell, Pastor
