Branson Feast of Tabernacles Location Move 2026

Due to unusual circumstances, we have had to relocate the 2026 Feast Site for Branson, Missouri.

We made this move to benefit all who are attending this year’s FOT and feel that it will allow all who attend to have a better experience at this year’s Feast of Tabernacles.

The original location was at the Branson Hillside Hotel! We always have a plan “B” just in case something unexpected happens, so we were prepared to move if the need arose, and it did. We are fortunate in that we have a plan “B” as one of the Churches of God lost their Feast site location because of the site being closed.

The new location will be at the Grand Plaza Hotel and Conference, still in Branson and the address is 245 N. Wildwood Dr., Branson, Missouri 65616.

The facility is under new ownership and has been remodeled. The new owners have done a beautiful job on updating the hotel and decor. If there are any special needs just let the hotel know and they will accommodate you if they can. They are wonderful to work with!

Give me this, give me that, get out of my way, let me be first! Have you ever noticed that so many people are impatient with other people be it in traffic or in a line to check out at some store? What happened to us?  What is the answer to the problem and even if people knew what the answer was, would they accept it?

Casualties of Independence Day

By: Lanora – Woman to Woman Blog

In this country that we call the United States we think of Independence Day as a day of joy and celebration of Freedom and Liberties. It’s a time of getting together with families sharing meals, fireworks and most of all memories of those that have served our country. But to many of our veterans who fought for those freedoms it can be severe bondage of the mind and body. My nephew 32 years young was a Gulf war veteran and he was one of those that fought for our freedom that all of us enjoy today. He chose to confront his demons a few years ago and end his suffering from his internal bondage after years of trying to adjust to life after war. He had a bright future ahead of him as an engineer and would have graduated from Kansas State.

There are so many questions and few answers in a situation like this. According to the 2025 National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report Part II, page 9 it shows from 2023 6,398 Veterans committed suicide compared to 2001 6,021. That statistic doesn’t include those who never contact the Veteran’s Administration for help. I expect that the number far exceeds it in 2024 – 2025. Even our youngest son who is a veteran recently said he doesn’t stay close to those whom he served with because so many of them have committed suicide or feel like they have no hope.

No Fear Of God

By: Lanora – Woman to Woman Blog

On December 15th, 2012 I listened to the Special News Report that covered yet another tragedy in our Nation, the shooting of twenty children and six adults at an elementary school in Connecticut. Since that time there have been many more school shootings. I am reminded of God’s words “Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will forget your children!”  Even though this scripture is referring to the Priests of that time it also applies to us today as a reminder of what the consequences are of rejecting our Great God.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

It seems like every time when tragedy strikes our Nations politicians start talking about gun control when they should really be talking about the moral issue of breaking God’s law, the sixth commandment which is in Exodus 20:13 You shall not murder.  This is where the core of the problem lies not in gun control.
