1st Day of Unleavened Bread

Greetings to each of you,

As far as I have been informed, everyone is well and safe! For that we truly thank God for His protection, His calling and all that He does for each one of us every day!

I received some questions regarding why we keep the Passover a day before the Jews do, which is the day marked on most of the commercially produced calendars these days.

First off, don’t get confused by commercially printed calendars as the ones printed overseas now start the week with Monday and end with Sunday as the 7th day of the week. Continue reading

Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread

Dear Brethren,

It’s been a couple of tough weeks for all of us having to stay at home but like I said in the sermon a few weeks ago, we might find ourselves in captivity just like the Children of Israel did back in the day and so it is!

Obviously we will not be able to meet for the Passover, the Night to be Observed, the 1st Holy day of Unleavened Bread or the Last Day of Unleavened Bread. Continue reading

I kept waking up last night and every time I awoke I kept recalling some lines from a song that we sang in services, I think when we were in United but I can’t recall the name of the song.
