Pastors Update March 21 2020

March 21, 2020

Greetings all,

I kept waking up last night and every time I awoke I kept recalling some lines from a song that we sang in services, I think when we were in United but I can’t recall the name of the song.

(I am the God, of Abraham and Jacob). Then another line (I am the God, who brought you out of Egypt, though the mountains quake and roar, be yea not afraid).

I think those lines possibly came from this section of scripture:

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.” (Psalm 46:1-3) (NIV I think)

I spoke with Wayne Turnbull yesterday and they are doing the same things we are, just staying put!

We talked about how to do the Passover at home as it looks like that is what we will be doing. Tyler will be doing the service on the Web and if you have a computer you can follow along at home. You will need a small amount of wine and some unleavened bread.

We will talk more about that in the weeks to come!

For now, just be calm: These are Christ words from the book of Luke.

Luke 21:18-19
18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost.
19 By your patience possess your souls.
NKJV

God be with you,

Dave Campbell, Pastor
